This week’s guest speaker is Jerry Holland, Supervisor of Elections for Duval County. Supervisor Holland first took office in March of 2005 as the result of a special election and was re-elected for his first four-year term in March, 2007. He will share interesting information about the Supervisor of Elections office and all of the services it provides to the citizens of Duval County. He will also provide a nonpartisan overview of the six proposed constitutional amendments that will appear on the 2010 general election ballot.
This is a great opportunity to hear rare, first-hand insight on both the history and future of the elections process in Duval County, as well as across the State of Florida. You won’t want to miss this informative discussion, just in time for what is sure to be a historical November election!
